Industrial Multi-core Cable
The term cable can be defined as "an encased group of insulated wires armoured with/without strips". A cable is a fairly inflexible (although can be bent slightly) set of wires used to supply the electricity to certain points in our home. Our meter box is supplied through a cable and our lights are fed through cables. A cable can carry many wires depending on the job it needs to do. Most domestic cables carry a black wire which is usually for the neutral current, a red wire for a live current and a bare wire to take residual current to earth.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF CABLES
The following factors are helpful in selecting type of cable:
1.CURRENT CARRYING CAPACITY
2.MODE OF INSTALLATION
